Founders
Manpreet Singh
Manpreet obtained degrees in Applied Physics, Mathematics, and Mechanical Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Showing students how to meet their own goals is what drives Manpreet to empower the youth with valuable and lasting knowledge. He works closely with several educational organizations in NYC and designs his own curriculum for various subjects and Standardized Exams (SAT, ISEE, SHSAT, Physics, Calculus, etc...). Manpreet harbors a great sense of appreciation for all facets of existence and draws upon the valuable lesson laid by Nikola Tesla - “My brain is only a receiver, in the Universe, there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength, and inspiration.”
GUNIN AGARWAL
Gunin was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, lived in Bangkok, Thailand, and then moved to Queens, New York. His multi-cultural background gives rise to his deep curiosity in various fields. He attended Baruch College, studying Philosophy, Internet Technologies, and Communication. Coming from a traditional family background, his values are rooted in love, family, & community. A background in business founding a parking mobile app start-up, real estate sales, and family jewelry business. He has worked as an after school teacher with elementary students, private tutor with high school students, and caretaker with seniors dealing with Alzheimer. An avid world traveler, with a passion for fashion design and technology. This diverse experience gives him a sense of purpose through culture, arts, & innovation. Gunin continuously seeks to empower others by guiding them to discover their purpose. A student of spiritual teachings, seeking to embody this quote by mystic poet Rumi, “I am not a drop in the ocean, I am the ocean in a drop.”

Michellea Millis
Michellea has over 21 years in Education and 10 years in Non-Profit Administration. She has led in five states (NJ, NY, FL, TX and LA) and has served in all major school roles. Currently, along with being part of the PUMP team, she is the Founder/CEO of BrownSTEM which creates innovative schools for college and career readiness with a STEM focus in under served communities. She has a BA Degree in Organizational Management, MS in Managerial Leadership, and A.B.D. in Educational Leadership. She has 2 grown daughters in NY, loves to travel abroad, watch foreign films and documentaries, and spin vinyl records.
cHRISTINE AUSTIN
For the past 18 years Christine has been working with students ages 6 months to 21 years of age, providing speech & language therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavioral analysis. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech, Language Pathology & Audiology and a Masters degree in Special Education, with a concentration in Autism. Her certifications include NYS Special Education Teacher Certification birth to 21, NYS Teacher of the Speech & Hearing Handicapp, and NYS School Building Leader Certification. She has worked with children and adults in a variety of settings both at home and in the classroom. She has consulted with districts in regards to behavioral and teaching strategies to be used with students both in mainstream and self-contained classroom settings. In her experiences working with young adults & adults with disabilities, she provides strategies and guidance in the areas of education, behavior management and job related coaching.
aLYSON GREENFIELD
Alyson Greenfield holds an M.F.A. in creative writing and is currently on the faculty at Hunter College where she teaches Explorations in the Arts, Expository Writing, and Literature, and has been a Featured Speaker at Hunter ACERT (Academic Center for Excellence in Research and Teaching) Seminars including "Embodied and Mindful Teaching: How To Use Arts Pedagogy in the Classroom" and "Rap and Poetry in the Classroom: Creative Performance as Classroom Engagement." Alyson is a former high school teacher, Teaching Artist, Tolerance Lecturer, National Organization for Women (NOW) Education Fund Board Member, and NOW Young Women's Empowerment Resource Project Director. A strong proponent of the arts to empower both educators and students, Alyson has designed numerous events for Columbia University Teachers College in conjunction with arts institutions including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Museum of the City of New York, The Apollo Theater, and more. Alyson is also a singer/songwriter and performer who appears regularly at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater in NYC, and whose music has been heard on Fox, Lifetime, AOL, and WNYC, and recognized by The New Yorker, AM New York, Time Out New York, and more.
